It's such a small world meeting a fellow blogger & youtuber right at work! I met Mariel on a slow day of work at UO and immediately hit it off! Once we both found out we were bloggers, a collaboration was the first thing to start planning. We both threw out some colors that we'd like to center our looks around and NUDES happened to be the one idea that stood out. So here's just ONE SIMPLE WAY that we each styled nudes.

Mariel's nude skirt brings some effortless sensuality to her look, which I love. It's basically like a second skin. I had an all black and white themed outfit and to tie the outfit all together, my favorite nude coat (which I've worn over and over & will continue wearing over and over) was perfect to add a tiny bit of color but still keep me looking relaxed!

I hope you guys enjoyed!

Go-To Outfit

Leather Jacket-Forever 21
White Tee-Zara
Jeans-Urban Outfitters + handmade rips
Boots- Zara
Bag-Zara

My go-to outfit needs to be plain and comfortable. It needs to be suitable for any casual occasion that may happen throughout the day.  It has to be perfect for a day that wasn't planned out to the dot. There's no doubt that you'd find me out shopping most days, so in my head, I need to wear something that will match anything that I decide to try on while browsing through stores. And what doesn't match a white t-shirt and black jeans? Exactly. What's more comfortable than a white t-shirt and jeans? Exactly. I usually throw on this leather jacket that I got from Forever 21 because the material is good quality, yet not too nice where I'd be worrying about roughing it up a little. I was in Vegas this weekend, so going in and out of smokey casinos was not going to be good for my higher quality jackets. Another bonus about this jacket is the fur lining on the collar. It's a nice little detail to the plain and simple attire. This ranks as one of my top favorite outfits to wear. It's quick, easy, comfortable, and suitable for literally EVERYONE. Don't be surprised if you catch me around one day and find that I'm wearing this exact outfit!

Dan

Golden Wonder

feat.
Golden Wonder Bath Bomb by LUSH Cosmetics
IT by Alexa Chung

Sorry, this post isn't about clothes, but more about the lack thereof. I'll be back to posting more outfits soon, but I've been spending a lot of time relaxing. I had just gotten off from working a 3:30 am shift at Urban Outfitters and I needed to unwind, as I'm not used to being awake at those kind of hours. So diving into this wonderful bath and having some silent time was lovely. Special thanks to my amazing friend, Alex, who gave me this Golden Wonder package. If you haven't bathed with a LUSH bath bomb, you must. That is an order. You must. Try any of them. They're all amazing. Anyway, I'll be back soon with more looks to post. I hope you all enjoy your day//week.

Perfection

There's too much pressure to look a certain way. To my sister, you're perfect in every way and you'll always be beautiful even if you may not believe that to be true. I love you.

To everyone who is reading this, you are beautiful flowers and that is the absolute truth.

Professor

Coat-Urban Outfitters
Turtle Neck-Forever 21
Pants-Zara

Clutch-Forever 21

I woke up a little late today, so I was forced to throw my hair into a messy bun that I may not be so proud of, but I had to run. It looked pretty chilly outside, so I threw on a knit turtle neck to keep my neck warm, since my hair won't be protecting me today. The blazer paired with my up-do and glasses made me feel like a professor. I feel very intellectual! Again, this look is pretty androgynous. Hope you like this outfit! It's a quick post since today is quite busy, but I wanted to share with you all. All the love!

THE CITY WOLFF X NESSYFAWN Winter Lookbook

California Winter Lookbook

Hey all you people! So I teamed up with my friend, Vanessa from Cheeky Fawn and we put together a California Winter Lookbook! Winter in California can be chilly, but not too cold at all. So here's a little idea of what us LA natives would wear. Hope you enjoy!
*I'll be listing where I got the items from my looks. To see where Vanessa got hers, check out her links which I'll leave at the end of this post!

Black blazers never fail to dress up my outfits. They're classy and clean-cut, and they bring an element of seriousness and professionalism to a look. I've been seeing a lot of spreads in magazines lately of women in suits and quite frankly, I'm crazy about the idea. I love the look of women in men's suits. It portrays so much power and feminism. In my opinion, blazers give a great opportunity to look sexy while at the same time saying, 'I've got my shit together.'

Once again, California isn't known for cold weather. Most winters, the coldest it gets is about 60 degrees. All I need for this type of weather is a long coat to cover up when the wind blows. It's likely that the sun will still be out so I can get away with exposing my legs a little bit! To keep a little covered up, the knee socks are perfect. There's something sexy about knee socks to me. It's something about covering up but exposing the most attractive part of a girl's legs, which in MY opinion is her thighs.

Fur! I love fur and it's definitely trending all around right now. And yes, faux fur. I have not seen one person in a fur coat who DIDN'T look good. Everyone can rock fur and look fabulous. I mentioned in my last post how fur can easily liven up a lazy look, and I think that's the best way to go with fur. I'm not one to necessarily like looking all done up and glamorous. I love staying minimalistic and simple, but still have that element that makes the outfit interesting. A nice touch of fur always brings a simple look together and makes you look and feel fierce! Note: Be cautious of people trying to pet you.

I had so much fun shooting these looks! Let me know which outfit was your favey and be sure to check out the wonderful Nessy Fawn!

Thanks for keepin up! xxxxx

Nothing To Wear

Beanie- Forever 21
Oversized Long Sleeve- Zara
 Fur Coat- Zara
 Knee Socks- Forever 21
 Boots- Zara

Here are my two favorite pieces from my XMAS Haul: My 'I Have Nothing To Wear' shirt and faux fur coat, both from Zara. I love loose, oversized t-shirts because they're the most comfortable item to wear when I'm lazy, yet they still have so much potential to style it up! In this case, with my fur coat.

The oversized long sleeve is an essential in my closet. I'm moderately lazy and some days, I just don't feel like getting all dolled up. The oversized t-shirt provides me the most comfort and flexibility to style it in so many different ways. I'm really into menswear/gender neutral clothing and oversized t-shirts help me bring out that boyish vibe that I usually like to portray in my outfits. I specifically love this one because it's honest and to the point. 'I have nothing to wear.' More like, 'I was lazy and didn't feel like putting together an outfit, so I put this on!'

In this case, I went for a more girly look with the fur coat on top of the oversized shirt. Fur never fails to add a little pop of diva to a look. This fur coat just adds onto my comfort since it's SO soft! It's so warm and inviting and it's the perfect piece for me to hide under when it gets chillier. Generally, this whole outfit is centered around comfort while still feeling kinda cute! I hope you like this look! Let me know if you'd wear this on a lazy day and if not, what would you wear?

XMAS HAUL

Find out what I got for Christmas and what I bought myself from After Christmas sales!

Feeling Down?

Me too. So, to try and cheer up you lil butterflies who have been feeling more like caterpillars lately, just know that I'm right there with you. Lately, I've been feeling down. Way down. And I've learned that the smallest things can make you feel happy. Simply surround yourself with things and/or people that make you feel even the slightest bit happier. Do what you love. Don't hesitate. If it makes you happy, keep it around. As long as you can. Those are the things that make your life worth living, right?
A few of those little things that make me feel happy are cute decors, scented candles, my favorite perfume, and writing.

It's like a kiss to my nose.
Scented Candle- Aloha Orchid from Anthropologie

I always feel prettier after one spritz.
Perfume- Daisy by Marc Jacobs

Write, write, write. About anything and everything. About whatever the HECK you want. It'll make you feel better. I promise.
Brown Leather Journal- Target

Decorate your room. Rearrange as much as you can. Don't get used to seeing the same things. Changing around just the smallest details of your room will make you feel good, I swear it.

It's been a long day, I bet. Don't let it get you down. Try these things because it certainly helped me in my dark times. All the love.
