A Guide for when you're feeling sick and down.
Winter Looks 2015
I threw together some easy peasy winter looks for this season. Check them out on my channel!
Steals n Deals
What I'm Wearing: // Coat | Forever 21 // Cropped Top | Thrifted // Baggy Jeans | Vintage // Shoes | H&M // Belt | Vintage
I'm all about getting more out of less. Everything that I'm wearing totals up to be less than $50. Let's break it down, shall we? The coat that I'm wearing is from Forever 21. I'm quite selective when it comes to purchasing from Forever 21 because you never know how the quality will turn out. It's usually a straight on hit or miss for me when I shop at Forever. Depending on the location and time of year, they can carry quite a few great quality items. I found this gem of a coat a year ago at Forever 21. It was the last one in the store and retailed for about $60 which was reasonable for the quality and sturdiness of it. It was in a size medium, which is usually too big for me, but I had to purchase it. The deal on this coat was 50% off, making the coat only $30. Quite a steal!
Moving on down to the bottom half, my shoes are from H&M. These boots are absolutely gorgeous, classy, and SO sexy and I am so in love with them. I'm usually a little skeptic with the quality of the shoes at H&M, but they do sometimes carry shoes with great quality. Again, sometimes it's just a complete hit or miss. These boots were again, the last ones in the store. They are genuine leather, and the retail price was $129. They're great, great quality and so slick. I was lucky enough to get the amazing sale price on these beauts. I purchased them for $7 and I had never been happier that day. Let's be real. Steals like that just don't come around often enough!
The top I purchased was thrifted for $5. My jeans were a vintage hand-me-down DIY'ed with rips, and my belt was a vintage hand-me-down as well.
Totaling up what I would have spent for this outfit: around $250
Totaling up what I did spend for this outfit: $42

Windy Day
What I'm Wearing: // Leather Jacket | Zara // Top | Brandy Melville // Shorts | Vintage // Belt | Vintage // Boots | H&M
The days are getting cooler, but it's still not quite as cold. My thigh high boots are my favorite for this fall season. They keep my legs warm when the wind starts blowing the cooler air. This leather jacket is my favorite in my collection so far. The length of sleeves are perfect for my short arms and I love the little belt is the perfect touch, giving me the opportunity to buckle it closed to create a thick, leather shirt which I think would be so unique for the winter days. Thanks to my buddy, Freddy for being able to capture decent photos of me even though the wind was blowing me over this day.

Big Sweater, No Pants | No. 2
Turtleneck
What I'm wearing: // Knit Turtleneck Sweater | Forever 21 // Thigh High Boots | H&M //
I'm finally feeling the fall weather and I'm absolutely ecstatic. The leaves are turning orange and the cool wind is blowing. The holiday coffee cups are out, and I'm playing my favorite fall records. Here is outfit number two of my Big Sweater, No Pants series. This outfit is so easy to throw on but it makes me feel put together because of the neat turtleneck. I'm in love with this knit sweater. It's soft and not itchy at all. Once again, I've centered this outfit around my thigh high boots which lock in all the warmth for my poor legs. Everything about this outfit is simple and comfortable, yet perfect for the season and pops in all the right ways. This look is less flowy than outfit number 1, so if you're not into blowing gracefully in the wind, this look may be a better fit. ;)
Different Outfits That Are The Same
Series 1: Big Sweater, No Pants
Blankets
What I'm Wearing: // Poncho | Forever 21 // Scarf | Forever 21 // Thigh High Boots | H&M //
Welcome to my first post of my "Different Outfits That Are The Same" series. This series is basically me putting together variations of the same outfit. These outfits can be worn in many different ways, so there will be a different outfit for every day of the week. The first outfit is the Big Sweater, No Pants look. *Disclaimer: I'm wearing shorts. This outfit is centered around my thigh high boots, which I have been completely obsessed with for days. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I've basically been wearing these in all my posts every day. And now I'm going to be wearing them for another week straight. No regrets. This outfit made me feel like one giant blanket. From the giant poncho to the oversized scarf, it didn't matter that I had no pants on in this (lucky) 60 degree weather today. The long poncho and giant scarf kept me so warm. It was literally like wearing a blanket! The thigh high boots really are perfect for fall weather. They look perfect with short dresses and shorts but are able to keep my legs warm through the day.
